Mordecai F. Castillo I know that the Book of Mormon is true. It has helped me strengthen my conversion and testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the atonement of our Savior. I learn that we need to be kind and love one another and follow the commandments of our Redeemer.
Niel Godfrey Villa Lappay I believe that the Book of Mormon is true, it helps me to overcome any challenges that I have and it gives me courage that I am not alone. Jacob 6:11 this verse reminds me of what covenant I made when I was baptized and it tells me that I should endure to the end and continue to press forward with courage, faith and always repent until I've obtain Eternal Life
Karrenlyn Pettalar Growing up as a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints, I've always heard people bearing their testimonies about the key stone of our religion, the Book of Mormon. As a child, I didn't really understand the depth of it, I only remember asking questions like: Is it really true? Does it actually answer all of our questions? and more of those-like questions. Members, leaders, and my family would always answer me one thing when I asked about these— read it and you'll know it yourself. I did, but my questions were never answered.
Half of my teenage
years I've been away and wandering off from His gospel and when I finally find
my way back to Him again, I realized some things that I've never noticed
before. Book of Mormon did, answered my questions, it's just not in the way
that I expected it to be. It was not like the way how I heard others testified
about it. My testimony about the Book of Mormon came in the quiet of dawning
with me reading a certain part of it and suddenly feeling too overwhelmed that
I cried, at that moment I said to myself, so this is what I missed through all
those times that I've wandered away from him. It wasn't grand like others, but
the feelings that I've felt that night helped me to fully go back in His
presence. To fully forgive myself too, to feel worthy again to be with Him.
Leaving my testimony I want to quote a certain part of
Mosiah chapter 2:9 "...I shall speak, but that you should hearken unto me,
and open up your ears that you may hear, and your hearts that ye may
understand, and your minds that the mysteries of god may be unfolded unto
you..." and Mosiah 4:10 — And again, believe that ye must repent of your sins
and forsake them, and humble yourselves before God; and ask in sincerity of
heart that he would forgive you;..." These verses are some of the verses
I've read before that really helped and pierced through my heart.
And now, I can say that All that I've said were true and I
know and feel that the Book of Mormon is true for I have experienced the
truthfulness of it, that I know and fully understand now that it is another
testament of Jesus Christ and I leave all these things in the name of Jesus
Christ, amen.
